RuneScape's have the ability to band together
Over in OSRS gold, Jagex are bringing back one of the scarcest in-game items , but only for a brief time. Through a special event that lasts from now through the 3rd January of 2022 players will have the chance to obtain an updated version of the iconic "Partyhat" which is an item that was originally available only during a holiday event back in 2001.
A few days ago in Maracaibo, Venezuela, Alexander Marinez who is short-cropped with black hair and three-to-four-day stubble, sat on his laptop watching herbiboars move through the mushrooms forest on Fossil Island. He put his finger on his glowing mouse which is the latest addition to his worn-out gaming equipment.
The cartoon-like character on his computer screen followed the path of a hedgehog-like creature that had triangular tusks, and flowers sprouting from its back. Outside Marinez's house, the sun blazed down the inaccessible road. The house is located about six miles from the strait which connects both the Caribbean Sea with Lake Maracaibo, one of the world's richest sources of oil.For all its fierce competition, RuneScape isn't just a small group of people. It is this ... but , just like any other community, RuneScape's have the ability to band together and aid each other out in the form of a few moments of glory worthy of the knightly honour that is often shown on screen.
The most significant act has to be done by the developers Jagex when they dedicated an in-game statue (and most recently, a pub) to the memory of a player who was a legend 'The Old Nite', who sadly passed away on the real world in the year 2006. He'd been active almost since the start of the game in 2001. He often held the title of the second highest ranked player, just behind cheap OSRS GP.
